You will find that Intel motherboards are the exact same price as AMD Ryzen motherboards. Generally, when integrated Intel motherboards cost more it is because there is more input or output, extra Pcle slots, more RAM slots, and maybe even two CPU sockets.

AMD Ryzen motherboards tend to be a little barer when you look at once.

Why is AMD Ryzen so cheap?  

AMD company is able to offer lower prices by thinking that even though the margins are lower and the amount of the central processing unit (CPU) sold should make up for the difference at least somewhat the AMD is so cheaper.

Why old motherboards are so expensive?   

Because they have been out of the production for a quite while. The few ones that are left are much expensive, because there is such little stock. If you want a motherboard that has been out of production for a while, then used is really your only option.
